Our target

We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

That is a target we test against, not a certification. Where we fall short we would rather know.

What that means in practice

• Every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly focused.
• Text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and large text and interface graphics meet 3:1.
• No information is conveyed by color alone.
• Form fields have correctly associated labels, errors are tied to their field and announced, and success and failure are announced through a polite live region.
• The page works zoomed to 200% without loss of content or function.
• Animation respects your operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
• Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.

How we test

Automated checks run against every change, and we target zero serious or critical issues. Automated tools catch a minority of real barriers, so those are backed by keyboard and screen-reader passes.
